Envolve Entrepreneurship: New support program for health technology startups
To Envolve Entrepreneurship (https://envolveglobal.org) announces medagoraXL(https://medagoraxl.com), a new support program new businesses in the area of health technology. medagoraXL will offer business acceleration services to established and emerging startups that offer solutions in the health space, such as digital health services, new technologies, medical devices, etc. In addition, the program will offer entrepreneurial training to researchers, students and academics interested in the commercial exploitation of their research (spin off), the design of a business venture, the formation, operation and development of a start-up company, but also guidance and interface with the market internationally. medagoraXL is implemented by Envolve Entrepreneurship and co-financed by the European Union, through EIT Health.

The goal of medagoraXL
The medagoraXL aims to connect the academia and health technologies with the startup ecosystem, healthcare and the wider medicare market. The organization’s vision, through this initiative, is to promote innovation and provide solutions that strengthen the health sector and offer better medical care, the provide new tools for disease prevention and patient monitoring, but also the wider contribution to the development of the Greek health technology industry. The business training will start in June 2024, while the two-month acceleration program will start next September.
Envolve Entrepreneurship, through the annual award program, but also the acceleration program EnvolveXL, has supported dozens of startups in the field of health technology and medicine, such as RTsafe, PD Neurotechnology, the Collaborate Health Cloud, Rodi Pharmaceuticals, et al. In 2023, the organization participated in a training program, the EIT Health Drive, to design and implement a specialized initiative for startups in the health sector, focusing on the academic sector and promoting entrepreneurial thinking. Co-funded by EIT Health and supported by other organizations in the ecosystem, medagoraXL aims to be a starting point for startups in this industry.
