“Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium Enterprises” and “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium Tourism Enterprises”: Completion of funding application submissions for the Actions
On March 27, 2024 the electronic submission of funding applications to the Integrated State Aid Information System for the Actions “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium Enterprises” and “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium Enterprises” was completed Tourism Enterprises” with the submission of a total of 9,823 funding applications for a total budget of 2,856,200,858.51 euros with a Public Expenditure of 1,528,024,776.70 euros.
Specifically, in the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium Enterprises” 3,154 funding applications were submitted. total budget 555,137,981.32 euros with Public Expenditure 292,138,568.99 euros.
The Action aims to strengthen the investment plans under establishment and newly incorporated businesses SMEs (except for the KAD of retail trade, of focus and tourism), which will invest their own resources in the activity they intend to carry out and create new jobs.
Also, in the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium-sized Tourism Enterprises” 6,669 applications were submitted financing of a total budget of 2,301,062,877.19 euros with Public Expenditure 1,235,886,207.71 euros.
The Action aims to strengthen the tourism entrepreneurship through the creation of new very small and medium enterprises of selected activity codes (KAD) of tourism, encouraging the creation of new businesses that, in addition to contributing to increasing the potential of the Greek tourism industry, will offer quality and reliable services and contribute to enriching the tourism product, as well as increasing employment.
