AADE: The Digital Clientele is coming in the fall – Which sectors does it concern?
Doctors, car workshops, parking and car rental companies, gyms, hotels, event and excursion organizers, are some of the professional sectors that from next month will be obliged to comply with the Digital Clientele of AADE.
This is an accounting program, which will be open during the operation of the business facility and will be interconnected with Taxis, so that the data cannot be tampered with and altered.
In this way, the number of clients of each professional will be registered and will be compared with the number of service receipts that will be issued and transmitted to the e-books myData.
If it is found that a business establishment has a limited number of customers declared, then this will be a criterion for carrying out an on-site inspection.
Professionals should maintain a digital ledger so that it is available for audit and compared to declared income.
The next step is to interface it with MyDATA, with the control also being possible from the controller’s office, to cross check if and when, for example, someone visited each professional.
Especially for the workshops – which the AADE has classified in the “high risk” list – a analytical mapping-recording is done, by the Ministry of Transport, thus enabling the tax authority to accurately proceed with the obligation of the Digital Clientele.
In this special Register, data such as: the total number of garages in the country (per Region, Regional Unit, etc.) will be entered. If it is private or public, the category of workshops (for heavy or light vehicles), the number of responsible technicians, building facilities, etc.
High on the list are:
- Professionals related to the provision of services to vehicles such as garages, car and motorcycle electricians, vulcanizers, body shops, vehicle parts and accessories sales businesses, car parks, car washes, vehicle rental businesses, new and used vehicle sales businesses used vehicles.
- Professionals active in the events industry from venues (estates and halls), catering companies, organization of event companies (weddings, christenings etc) to travel, entertainment and decorations.
The expansion of the digital clientele to other professional sectors will also be considered such as doctors, operators of accommodation or hospitality, schools, clinics, treatment centers, beauty centers, gyms etc
The new professional clientele will be maintained digitally and monitoring by AADE will be done online, while there will be the possibility of cross-references and comparisons with similar businesses.
