“Tourism Career Day”: Saturday, March 30 at SEF with over 3,000 jobs

The Public Employment Service (DYPA) is organizing the “Tourism Career Day” on Saturday March 30, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, in Piraeus, from 10:00 to 18:00.

The event will be attended by more than 100 enterprises of the tourism sector, such as:

• hotels
• travel agencies
• car rental companies
• focus businesses
• airport service companies, etc.

They offer more than 3,000 jobs for many specialties and for many levels of education and specialization.

DYPA organizes again this year a Career Day dedicated to tourism to support the businesses which – as the tourist season begins – are looking for personnel for thousands of jobs.

At the same time, the event provides the opportunity to all those looking for work in the industry, to talk directly with executives of hundreds of companies and explore what employment opportunities exist that match their qualifications and professional expectations.

In a specially designed space, citizens will be able to inform themselves about the European Year of Skills and also watch presentations and talk to students, educators and executives of Experimental Vocational Schools (PEPAS) Apprenticeship of DYPA, which offer study programs exclusively in specialties of tourism.

DYPA’s “Career Day” events evolve and adapt to the needs of citizens and businesses, so that they always constitute a successful networking and interconnection hub, strengthening the effective coupling of labor supply and demand.
