SEGE #Her_Research: Applications for the action are extended until February 15

After the warm response and the high number of participations, it was decided to grant additional time to researchers who are interested, in order to exploit the opportunity to participate in this initiative.

This extension gives the possibility to more scientists and researchers to develop and promote their ideas in the scientific space.

All interested women active in the field of research are invited to use this additional period to submit their applications.

The aim of Her_Research is to empower women researchers in terms of know-how, their access to funding, as well as facilitation of their networking in the business world, the #Her_Research action, rewards innovative ideas, services and products.

SEG’s former president, Apostolina Tsaltabassi, commented: “It is our great pleasure to continue this important initiative that supports and strengthens the participation of women in the scientific community. We invite all interested parties to participate and share their ideas with us”.

Entries

The action is open to research groups and/or individual researchers who have not yet entered the space of businesses and their activity is not already supported by other official actions.

Awards

Action prizes will be awarded for each field separately.

In particular:

• First Prize (A’) where 3 research teams will receive FREE research proposal writing support for Horizon Europe or an equivalent research program from a dedicated team of technical advisors
• Second Prize (B’) where 5 research groups will receive FREE a complete training and 10 hours consulting package from a specialized team of technical consultants
• Finally, Bonus Award where all participating researchers will attend a 2-hour specialized seminar on research resources and 2 hours Mentoring on the subject

Scientific Committee: The evaluation process of the research proposals to be awarded in the 3rd Round #Her_Research will be coordinated and supervised by a Scientific Committee, composed of professors University Institutions from all over Greece and will be announced soon.

The #Her_Research initiative is an opportunity to strengthen the voices of women in the scientific field and to promote innovative ideas that will contribute to the scientific community.

The 3rd cycle of the #Her_Research action is under the auspices of:
