Digital Tools for SMEs B' - The programme

The purpose of the Programme "Digital Tools for SMEs B'" is to strengthen the digital maturity of the country's small and medium-sized enterprises that operate in a wide range of sectors of the economy.

Through the Programme, the participating enterprises can receive support in order to:

  • modernise their production, commercial and administrative operation,
  • upgrade the way they communicate and cooperate and introduce new forms of hybrid work (hybrid workplace),
  • digitise electronic transactions with customers and partners, including e-commerce,
  • raise the level of security and trust in electronic transactions, through the use of new digital products and services.

For this purpose, the Programme "Digital Tools for SMEs B'" will provide vouchers to be used for acquiring new digital tools, through purchase or leasing.

Program budget

The budget (Public Expenditure) of the Programme (Digital Tools for SMEs B') amounts to 42,000,000.00 euros. The Programme is funded by resources of the Recovery and Resilience Facility for the RRF Action entitled: "Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises".

The budget will be made available through repeated rounds and is split into individual categories, as follows:

Ψηφιακά Εργαλεία ΜΜΕ B’ - Προϋπολογισμός

Amount and intensity of aid

Under the Programme, vouchers can be used, depending on the category of each enterprise, as follows:

Ψηφιακά Εργαλεία ΜΜΕ B’ - Ύψος ενίσχυσης

Eligible Actions and Expenses

Under the Programme, the supply of digital products and services, as well as of related supplementary services and equipment, through a voucher system, is eligible for subsidy.

Every beneficiary of Categories 1, 2, 3 or 4 may be funded for the purchase of one or more "subsidised solutions".

Each "subsidised solution" is invoiced and paid in one transaction (one document). Part of the payment of each transaction will be made by using / redeeming vouchers of the Programme (public funding). So that more subsidised solutions can be bought (through multiple transactions / invoices), the corresponding aid may be split into more than one voucher (which in total may not exceed the total subsidy value that corresponds to the beneficiary).

Purchase of subsidised digital solutions

In brief, the procedure for buying subsidised solutions follows these steps:

  1. Receiving the vouchers

  2. Choosing products – services and suppliers

  3. Ordering products – services – Reserving the vouchers

  4. Paying for the product – redeeming the vouchers

  5. Paying for the product – redeeming the vouchers

The beneficiary may cancel the transaction after the vouchers have been redeemed.

The start of the eligibility of expenses is the date the call for funding applications to the Programme "Digital Tools for SMEs B" was issued (28/11/2024), on condition that the other requirements of the Programme are met, and above all that both the digital product / service and the supplier, and a voucher for the potential beneficiary, are approved.
