New Action “Strengthening the Establishment of Very Small and Small Businesses in the island regions of the DAM Program 2021-2027 (“Business green”)”
The Action “Do green business” is part of the Just Development Transition (DAM) 2021-2027 and aims to stimulate entrepreneurship in small islands of the country with a population of up to 3,100 inhabitants. The main aim is to support new and newly established very small and small enterprises with a green and innovative orientation, in order to contribute to economic diversification, job creation and sustainable development.
The Action “Do green business” is part of the Just Development Transition (JDT) 2021-2027 and aims to stimulate entrepreneurship in small islands of the country with a population of up to 3,100 inhabitants. The main aim is to support new and newly established very small and small enterprises with a green and innovative orientation, in order to contribute to economic diversification, job creation and sustainable development.
In the “Do green” Action, start-up and newly established medium, small and very small businesses that are expected to be active in selected KAD activities on islands with a population of up to 3,100 may apply for funding.
Under establishment means businesses that will submit the start of operations to the competent D.O.Y. after the online submission of the funding application.
Start-ups are businesses that have started operations and at the date of online submission of the funding application, have less than (2) complete closed management years (for which the appropriate tax forms have been submitted).
Terms and Conditions of Beneficiary Participation
1. To submit a single financing application per A.F.M. 2. To be active in eligible Activity Codes (KAD), as defined in the detailed invitation, throughout the implementation of the investment plan. 3. The “I do green” Action will be implemented with resources of the Just Transition Fund (TTM) of a total amount of €20,000,000.
The minimum and maximum total supported budget (P/Y) of the funding application is set from €20,000 up to €150,000. which must be provided by the applicant at all stages.
The grant will amount to 70% of the submitted costs and Private participation 30% (own resources or bank borrowing)
The aid of this Action “I do green” will be allocated in the framework of Regulation (EU) no.1407/2013 of the Commission of 18 December 2013 regarding the application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to aid of minor importance (De Minimis).

Deadline for applications: 30/06/2025 at 15:00
The start date of expenditure eligibility is defined as the date of announcement of the Action “Go Green”.
The duration of the implementation of the physical and financial object of the investment plan is set at 18 months from the date of issuance of the Decision Approving the evaluation results.
The methodology that will be applied to evaluate the action is Comparative Evaluation.
