CAA: Possibility of internship and thesis preparation for students

The Civil Aviation Service (CAA), aims to provide safe services aviation and airport operation, and has a 2,000-strong workforce. Within the scope of its object, the CAA extends an open invitation to students of the Polytechnic and Economics schools of the country who wish to carry out an internship or prepare their bachelor thesis or doctoral thesis, to express their interest by submitting a relevant application through the online platform ATLAS or email.

For the period 2024-2025, the CAA has posted in the ATLAS system approximately 86 internship positions, available for students of all Polytechnic Schools, departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Topographical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Accounting, IT/Programming, and Legal. With regard to the preparation of a degree/diploma thesis, the interested students will be able to determine together with the CAA and their School the topic they are interested in. At the end of the internship or thesis/doctoral thesis period, students receive an official certificate of seniority, which will recognize their contribution and the experience gained.

As CAA Governor Mr. Giorgos Sounatsos summarily emphasizes “In our effort to strengthen the connection of higher education with the aviation space, innovation and research, we give the opportunity to the outstanding young minds of our country to work and contribute in an area of high technology and know-how, building a strong resume that they will capitalize on in their professional future”. At this time, the internship of 6 students is in progress.

For the possibility of carrying out an Internship at the CAA, those interested are requested to look for the available positions on the electronic platform ATLAS, in consultation with the Office Practical exercise of their School.
