Women in Tech Greece: Today 4/5 the second event for female leadership

To National Network of Infrastructures for Research and Technology - Hellas (EDYTE S.A. - GRNET), a body of the Ministry of Digital Governance, organizes the 2nd online event on "Challenges and Opportunities in the Technology Sector: Women in Responsibility and Leadership", which takes place in the framework of EDYTE's initiative, Women in Tech Greece. The initiative aims to raise awareness, inform and encourage women to become active, develop and distinguish themselves professionally in the field of technology.

At the event that will take place online today, May 4 at 6 p.m., the General Secretary of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures, L. Christopoulos, and the General Secretary of Demographic and Family Policy and Gender Equality, K. Goula, will address a greeting. Will follow presentation of the goal of the Women in Tech Greece initiative, as well as of the conclusions of the first event held on 29/03, by E. Lokana, Head of the EDYTE Digital Capabilities Directorate.

The event will be moderated by Stella Kasdagli, co-founder of the organisation Women On Top , author.

Women who have distinguished themselves in positions of responsibility and leadership in the field of Technology participate with speeches: K. Sgouropoulou, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Attica and member of the Board of Directors of EDYTE SA, N. Tsouma, CEO of IDIKA, G. Paparidou, President of the Association of Informatics and Communications Companies (AICC), K. Pramatari, senior. professor OPA, member of the Board of Directors of EDYTE SA, and partner of Uni.fund, and P. Misthou, Professor of Informatics and Mathematics, MSc. MEd., STEM coach & mentor.

The event will focus on creating opportunities for women in technology, with the aim of promoting them to senior positions and leadership roles, and the importance of increasing the percentage of those choosing to pursue a career in technology.
