Beneficiaries of the programme are 79 enterprises involved in wine production.
The measure of business investment is about investment:
- in cutting-edge technologies
- improving the quality of the wine produced
- in the marketing of wine products
The programme is implemented throughout the country, with the strategic objectives of increase of competitiveness through the qualitative upgrading of the products produced in combination with the improvement of marketing, the support of small and medium-sized enterprises in order to maintain or develop them economically and the strengthening of collective structures (e.g. Cooperatives, Producers' Organisations, Wine Producers' Associations, Interprofessional Association).
At the same time, the quantified objectives of the programme are:
α) To increase the market share of certified wines (PDO, PGI, PGI, PIKILIAKON, traditional designation) by 5%.
(b) The number of investment projects to be financed should be 50 projects per year, of which at least 20 projects should be for small and medium-sized enterprises.
(c) The number of investment projects to be financed is set at 50 projects per year, of which at least 5 projects must concern collective structures as a maximum.
