Vocational training programme for young people with disabilities

The National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities (NCSD) is implementing a subsidised vocational counselling training and certification programme for 3,000 unemployed young people with disabilities or chronic diseases.

Professional counseling includes individual and group counseling

A) Two individual counselling sessions, as well as a group session before the start of the training

B) A group session before the start of the internship

Training Programme - Training Programme - Theoretical training

The horizontal training programme will have a duration of 150 hours, while each of the specialised training programmes will have a duration of 150 hours. All programs will lead to certification.

The training programme for young people with disabilities

  1. Horizontal Program (will be attended by all beneficiaries): "ICT skills"
  2. Specialized programs (each beneficiary will choose one of the following): a. Trade and Extroversion b. Office / Administrative Support Officer

The theoretical training will last a total of 300 hours.

Practice physical exercise

The placement of the beneficiary will take place in a relevant internship position in companies of the private sector and in bodies of the public or wider public sector (eg in local government bodies). The traineeship will have a total duration of 200 hours.

Certification of professional qualifications

The certification of the knowledge and skills of the trainees acquired after successful completion of the training programmes will be implemented through examinations, which will be conducted by UCERT, an accredited body by the National Accreditation System (ESYD) in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17024 standard and accredited by the EOPPEP .

Participants in the training and certification actions receive an educational allowance of EUR 5 gross per hour of theoretical training and EUR 5 per hour of practical training, less statutory deductions, provided that they have completed the training and practical training and participated in the certification process. The maximum number of absences allowed should not exceed 20% of the total duration of the programme. Trainees who have exceeded the maximum number of permitted absences are not entitled to participate in the certification examinations, are not entitled to an educational allowance and are not issued with a certificate of attendance. The certification of possible absences is carried out through the daily program attendance sheets. Any absences of trainees, up to the permissible limit of 20%, result in a corresponding reduction in the amount of the educational allowance.

In order to be eligible to participate in the Vocational Training Programmes, each interested person must complete and submit a single Application Form in electronic form, via the internet, on the website: https://training.esamea.gr/p/m/el-GR the 'Application for participation' form, which serves as a Declaration of Responsibility. The deadline for the submission of electronic applications and supporting documents of the interested parties expires on 31/10/2022 at 23:59:59.
