University of Piraeus: Ten educational seminars

The E-learning Program in Financial Management and Project Management of the Centre of Financial Management and Project Management of the University of Piraeus organizes a series of training seminars that combine theory and practice, in order to meet today's modern and particularly demanding working environment.

The proposed training courses seminars

  3. Introduction to Logistics (Basic Logistics)
  4. Applied Finance in Microsoft Excel
  5. Digital Banking Fundamentals
  6. Project Management Information Systems
  7. Business English
  8. Modern Forms of Contracts
  9. Blockchain and Decentralized Financing Mechanisms
  10. The Executive Assistant

Applications are submitted online until 4 November, via the Programme's website elearning.xrh.unipi.gr , while the courses start on 7 November.

The Program

The Program has been operating since 2008, has trained approximately 12,000 participants, while over 400 companies and institutions have chosen it for the training of their employees.

Basic features

  • Issuance of a Training Certificate with ECVET credits (for seminars or programs of more than 50 hours)

  • Ability to repay tuition fees in monthly installments and pay reduced tuition fees to specific groups
  • Ability to attend individual seminars (educational modules) or a program (seminar group)

Prerequisites

The Programme accepts applications from graduates and students of all universities and universities of applied sciences of Greece and abroad, as well as secondary school graduates with experience in the subject matter. In case there are prerequisites for the attendance of an educational module, these are indicated in the respective syllabus. on the website of the Programme .

Training seminars - How to attend

The Program removes space and time limits and provides equal educational opportunities to everyone, regardless of the area of residence and daily obligations, since it enables the participants to watch it from anywhere and at any time they have free time, as long as they have access to the internet. Monitoring is done exclusively from the Internet through simple educational software (asynchronous distance learning platform). The working environment on the asynchronous learning platform is very friendly and easy to use to facilitate studying, while digital learning materials and continuous educational support are provided. The educational material of all educational modules includes electronic notes with theory and examples which are in pdf format with the possibility of saving and printing, so that the study is also possible offline. In some of the educational modules it is video lectures also available, which participant cannot save but only to watch online connected to the platform as many times as he wishes.

Method of Examination - Degrees

After the successful completion of a training module from the training seminars, a Certificate of Training or a Certificate of Successful Attendance is issued by the Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of Piraeus.

  • Training Certificate, as long as the duration of the training module is at least 50 hours. The Training Certificate shows the duration in hours and the ECVET units (1 unit per 25 hours).
  • Certificate of Successful Attendance, as long as the duration of the educational module is less than 50 hours. The Certificate of Successful Attendance only shows the duration of attendance without ECVET credits.

The Study Guide for the specialised training seminars consists of educational modules-seminars that are part of individual programmes. A Degree is granted upon completion of each educational module, but also upon successful completion of at least two educational modules of the same program.
