Preparations have already started for the 6th edition of the successful institution of the Sustainable - Innovative & Sustainable Development Awards. Responsible Entrepreneurship, awarded by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and are highly appreciated by the business, chamber and political world.
With the constant aim of strengthening entrepreneurship, E.E.A. will award small and medium-sized enterprises and professionals, who withstand successive economic crises, but also who have managed, with vision, effort and responsibility, to grow and innovate.
This year's big E.E.A. event is scheduled in November.
Categories entrepreneurship
The awards will be for one of the following categories
- Family business/succession
- Successful/Resilient Professional
- Extroverted entrepreneurship
- Innovative entrepreneurship
- Networking – Collaboration
- Social responsibility
- Start-up Entrepreneurship
- Women's Entrepreneurship
Evaluation criteria
The minimum criteria for the selection of enterprises and freelancers are as follows:
- Not be bankrupt, wound up or administered by the courts.
- They must not be subject to the recovery of aid from the implementation of a national or Community programme.
- Operate legally, i.e. have the valid operating license, as the case may be.
- They must not be undertakings in difficulty as defined by the provisions of Article 2(2). 2.1, points 9, 10, 11 of the European Commission Guidelines (2004/C/244/02).
- To have the last two financial years (before depreciation & taxes) profitable.
- There should be no overdue debts to the State, Banks, EFKA and other insurance funds.
- Have maintained and/or increased employment in 2021 compared to 2020 and continue the same practice in 2022.
- Not to operate under a franchising agreement.
Start-ups provide data on those uses that have already been closed, while if they have more than one year of operation they must maintain and / or have increased employment.
