Published in Government Gazette was the Joint Ministerial Decision No. eco. 24760/550/2020 and matter: Extension of the duration of regular unemployment benefit, long-term unemployed allowance and unemployment benefits.

Extension of the duration of regular unemployment benefit, long-term unemployment benefit and unemployment benefits

More specifically, the JMD signed by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mr. Vroutsis and the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Skylakakis, provides:

• The duration of the regular unemployment benefit , the long-term unemployed allowance, the unemployment allowance for self-employed persons and persons insured under the EFKA - t. O.A.E.E., t. E.T.A.P. - M.M.E. and the unemployment benefit for independently and independently employed insured persons of the EFKA - t. EBRD (t. Sector TSMEDE, t. Sector TSAY, t. Sector Insurance for Lawyers), for those beneficiaries who expired in May 2020 and have not benefited from the extension of article 7 of the 20.3.2020 P.N.P. (A' 68), ratified by article 1 of law 4683/2020 (A' 83), as amended by article 24 of the 30.3.2020 P.N.P. (A' 75), ratified by article 1 of law 4684/2020 (A' 86) and as replaced by article 9 of law 4684/2020 (A' 86), is extended for two (2) months.
• The number of days of subsidy for unemployed persons during the extension period of par. 1 are excluded from the limitation of paragraph 1. 8 of Article 6 of Law No. 1545/1985 (Α' 91). Otherwise, the provisions of Law 2961/1954 (A' 197) and Article 44 of Law 2961/1954 (A' 197) shall apply. 3986/2011 (Α' 152).

This decision shall take effect upon its publication in the Government Gazette.
