Startup Greece organizes the first Greek delegation (SG Delegation) to Davos, at the World Economic Forum (WEF). The aim is to bring the entire Greek startup ecosystem to the forefront on a global level.
Startup Greece, as a leading organization in the promotion and support of development of Greek start-ups , is proud to announce the first Greek delegation (SG Delegation) in Davos. This mission will give the opportunity to ten Greek leaders, investors, executives and entrepreneurs to be present at the WEF from 15 to 20 January.
As part of its activities, Startup Greece will co-organise World Innovation Economics (WIE). The event is scheduled for January 18 at the Sunstar Hotel. WIE is a conference to discuss and highlight the latest trends and developments in the startup ecosystem.
Through WIE, Startup Greece aims to bring the Greek startup ecosystem to the forefront on a global level and to highlight the country 's potential as a centre of innovation and entrepreneurship. This event will include:
- Discussions
- workshops
- innovation competitions and
- networking opportunities with leaders of the international startup ecosystem

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a global conference where leaders from all sectors of society come together to discuss issues facing the whole planet. The theme of this year's conference is "Cooperation in a fragmented world: Addressing crises and future challenges". The WEF will take place from 16 January to 20 January in Davos, Switzerland.
