Green SME Transition: a total of 5,711 applications to the Green Productive Investment SME and Green SME Transformation actions

To date, 5,704 applications for funding have been submitted for Green Transition SMEs, and more specifically for the actions: Green Productive Investment SMEs and Green SME Transformation. The budget has already been exhausted for some regions, while calls remain open for applications in the remaining regions and until the budget is fully exhausted.

Specifically as stated in a post on the website for the NSRF of Ministry of Development and Investment, to date, have been submitted 4.434 applications for funding in the Green Productive Investment SME action, for a total of budget of EUR 676.892.155 with public expenditure of EUR 316 306 327 and 1 277 applications for funding under the Green SME Transformation action, with a total budget of EUR 713 982 632 and a public expenditure of EUR 326 690 032.

Green Productive Investment SMEs

In more detail, for the action Green Productive Investment SMEs, according to the NSRF data, in the category of Less Developed Regions (North Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Ionian Islands, Sterea Greece, Peloponnese), 3.056 applications for funding have been submitted with a public expenditure of 211.243.401 euros, while the public expenditure of the action for this category is 312.000.000 euros.

In the category of Transition Regions (Attica, South Aegean) 1.378 applications have been submitted with a public expenditure of 105.062.946 euros, while the public expenditure of the action for this category is 88.000.000 euros and there is no more public expenditure available for this category of regions.

The call will remain open for applications until the budget for the category of Less Developed Regions (North Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Ionian Islands, Sterea Greece, Peloponnese) is exhausted, increased by 20%.

Green Transformation of SMEs

In the Green SME Transformation action, to date, 1,277 funding applications have been submitted for a total budget of €713,982,632 with a public expenditure of €326,690,032.

Specifically, in the category of Less Developed Regions (North Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Sterea Greece, Peloponnese), have been submitted 943 applications for funding with a public expenditure of 246.667.789 euros, while the public expenditure the action for this category is 234.000.000 euros.

In detail, the public expenditure of funding applications submitted under EU Regulation 1407/2013 (de minimis) for the above category of regions amounts to 90.105.552 euros, while the public expenditure for this aid scheme amounts to 117.000.000 euros.

Accordingly, the public expenditure of funding applications submitted under EU Regulation 651/2014 amounts to EUR 156.562.237, while the public expenditure for this aid scheme amounts to EUR 117.000.000 and there is no more public expenditure available for this category of regions.

In the category of Transition regions (Attica, South Aegean) 334 applications for funding have been submitted with a public expenditure of EUR 80.022.243,32 and there is no more public expenditure available for this category of regions.

The call for Green Transition SMEs will remain open to submit applications until the budget for the project is exhausted the category of less developed regions (North Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Sterea Greece, Peloponnese), based on EU Regulation 1407/2013 (de minimis), increased by 20%.
