“Storage systems in businesses”: The platform for submitting applications to the program has opened
Open from January 13, 2025 is the platform for submitting applications to join the program “Storage Systems in Businesses” of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
With a total budget of 153.7 million euros, it grants companies, irrespective of size and sector of economic activity, with the aim of:
- the installation of storage systems (battery) in planned photovoltaic systems
- the installation of a storage system (battery) in already existing active photovoltaic systems
As pointed out in the relevant announcement, in both the two cases mentioned above, the storage system and only this one is subsidized, exclusively.
Regarding the intensity of the aid, it depends on the size of the business that will submit the application and is configured for the main eligible costs as follows:
It should be noted that those interested in the “Storage Systems in Businesses” program have the possibility to submit their applications only online, until 28.02.2025, through the official website of the program (https://exoikonomo-epixeiro-fotovoltaika.gov.gr).

The program is implemented within the framework of “RePowerEU”, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with the financing of the European Union–NextGeneration EU.
