The programme
The action entitled Competitiveness Toolbox for Small and Micro Enterprisesis aimed at supporting existing micro and small enterprises to upgrade and improve their competitive position in the internal and external markets.
The following categories of expenditure will be financed:
- Προμήθεια και εγκατάσταση νέων σύγχρονων μηχανημάτων και εν γένει εξοπλισμού, απαραίτητου για τη λειτουργία της επιχείρησης και την άσκηση της οικονομικής δραστηριότητάς της
- παρεμβάσεις για την εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας (προμήθεια εξοπλισμού και εγκατάσταση)
- εγκατάσταση συστημάτων πιστοποίησης-διαχείρισης ποιότητας, τυποποίησης και πιστοποίησης προϊόντων
- δαπάνες τεχνικών μελετών Μηχανικού
- wage costs of newly recruited staff
- δαπάνες για υπηρεσίες συμβούλων για την παρακολούθηση του επενδυτικού σχεδίου
Who it concerns
Beneficiaries
Ενισχύονται αποκλειστικά υφιστάμενες Μικρές και Πολύ Μικρές Επιχειρήσεις όπως αυτές ορίζονται στη Σύσταση της Επιτροπής 2003/361/ΕΚ, οι οποίες πριν την ημερομηνία ηλεκτρονικής υποβολής της πρότασης χρηματοδότησης:
- έχουν κλείσει τουλάχιστον τρεις (3) πλήρεις διαχειριστικές χρήσεις δωδεκάμηνης διάρκειας
- have eligible IDs of the investment
- have at least two (2) full-time or part-time dependent employment in the year preceding the submission of the investment plan.
- employ fewer than 50 SRM of paid employment or the annual turnover and annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 10 million. euros

The indicative budget of the action Competitiveness Toolbox for Small and Micro Enterprises is 400.000.000 € (public expenditure).
The Public Expenditure is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by National Participation.
The subsidised budget of each investment project ranges from €20,000 to €200,000.

The funding of investment projects covers at least 50% of eligible costs and is increased for certain categories of costs up to 65% depending on the export activity of the enterprises in the last year before the submission of the funding proposal.
To cover the private contribution, the potential beneficiary of the aid may use either own resources or borrowing.
After the signature of the integration decision, the beneficiary may use a special bank account in the form of "Open Escrow Account" ( ) in order to pay the grant to the already implemented, invoiced and certified in Intermediate Verification - Certification by the Intermediate Body, directly to its providers/suppliers.

In the Competitiveness Toolbox for Small and Micro Enterprises action, the following categories of expenditure will be funded:
- Machinery - Equipment - Interventions - Energy saving
- Certification – quality management systems, design, standardization and certification of Products – Services – Processes
- Packaging – Label – Branding
- Digital Promotion
- Means
- Costs of engineering studies
- Preparation and monitoring of the investment plan
- Wage costs of employees (new staff)

Duration of Implementation of Investment Plan
Η προθεσμία ολοκλήρωσης των χρηματοδοτούμενων επενδύσεων may not exceed thirty-six (36) months and one hundred and thirty-two (132) days in total from the date of issue of the decision of inclusion. In the event that a deadline set out above expires on a non-working day, it shall be extended until the first working day.
Exceptionally, especially and only for those investment projects for which the date of the decision of inclusion in the Action is later than 11-06-2020, the deadline for their completion cannot exceed thirty-six (36) months from the date of adoption of the Decision of Inclusion.
Όταν με βάση τις ανωτέρω ορισθείσες χρονικές διάρκειες υλοποίησης των επενδυτικών έργων οι προβλεπόμενες ημερομηνίες ολοκλήρωσης του φυσικού και οικονομικού αντικειμένου είναι μεταγενέστερες της 31-12-2023, τότε ορίζεται ως καταληκτική ημερομηνία ολοκλήρωσης η 31-12-2023.
The call will remain open for applications until the available budget is exhausted and at the latest until 31.01.2021 at 17:00:00. Throughout the period mentioned above - and subject to the availability of the budget - interested parties may submit applications for funding.
Applications for funding will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date of online submission of the investment project
