The National Bank of Greece announced the launch of the 14th Innovation & Innovation Competition Technology of the NBG Business Seeds programme National Bank of Greece, the longest running Innovation Competition of a Greek institution, in which 7,520 participants have already participated.

The aim of the competition is tohighlight and reward original ideas, research results, business plans and companies that contribute to:

• the development of innovative systems and applications based on new technologies
• integrating an ESG approach into the design of products and services
• the spread of the use of new information and communication technologies; and
• more generally in the promotion of innovation in Greece

The themes of the competition are:

Participants in the competition are invited to information, introduction and guidance activities by experienced National Bank staff and programme partners:

• Bayer Greece
• Mastercard
• NGB Pay and
• 45 other bodies and organisations

In the framework of the competition, the first four proposals receive cash prizes of €20,000, €10,000, €6,000 and €4,000 respectively, after evaluation by University professors and executives of the National Bank of Greece. The first ten proposals receive significant visibility and guidance from Bank staff. For selected proposals, the cooperation with the bank, the use of their products and services, and the bank's participation in their corporate capital are investigated.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Wednesday 4 October 2023, at 15:00 hrs.
