Microsoft for Startups: collaboration with Marathon VC to support Greek startups

New "Microsoft for Startups" partnership with Marathon Venture Capital, aimed at further developing late-stage startups that have secured significant funding and are active in the B2B Enterprise sector, is launched by Microsoft Greece, Cyprus and Malta. The new partnership is guided by the previous successful joint actions, as noted in the relevant communication

Specifically, in the context of the partnership, Microsoft will include scaleups in the "Microsoft for Startups" program, following a proposal by Marathon VC. Startups will be provided with access to technology, technical guidance and business development support globally. In addition, Microsoft will provide training in cloud computing and application development. At the same time, it will have experienced executives, who wish to offer consulting guidance to the companies that are included in the program.

Marathon Venture Capital is one of the most important funds for tech startups in Greece. It manages funds totalling EUR 100 million. euro. Its investments include Netdata, Hack The Box, Cube RM, Lenses, Causaly and Learnworlds. At the same time its partners were among the co-founders or initial investors in companies such as Bugsense, Taxibeat and Workable.

With the new partnership, Microsoft Greece will expand the circle of startups, but also the overall dynamics of the "Microsoft for Startups" program. Already, in the one year of the program, eighteen startups are benefiting from the Program. These startups receive comprehensive support, aiming at their extroversion and international development.
