Live A Legacy: Back for 6th year and empowering women
The successful initiative Live A Legacy by Mastercard and Women On Top is enriched with new actions and returns to support even more women to achieve their professional goals. Through the events that will take place for the 6th year in Athens and 2nd year in Thessaloniki, women of all ages will have the opportunity to envision the career of their dreams.
Mastercard and Women On Top’s Live A Legacy has evolved into a landmark event for women’s empowerment, bringing together speakers and speakers from various sectors, both from Greece and abroad. Through speeches and discussions that take place, the issue of women’s empowerment in the workplace is approached holistically, actively and effectively contributing to the support of women in the professional arena.
With the central theme of “Threads of success”, at this year’s Live A Legacy, which will take place at the Odeio Athens on Saturday, May 18, 2024, renowned speakers from Greece and abroad will share their own success stories. Through experiential talks and thematic discussions, the guests will highlight their difficulties and successes in the fields of technology, sciences and entrepreneurship. Focusing on women’s empowerment, the main presenters of the event, Lydia Papaioannou and Giorgos Kapoutzidis, will connect the stories of the speakers in a full-day event that aims toinspire and mobilize women and young girls to start their professional journey with vigor.
Furthermore, after the wide acceptance and success of last year, Mastercard and Women On Top are implementing again this year the Live A Legacy Mentoring Days, two separate events that will take place on Sunday, May 19 in Athens at the ATRAKTOS multipurpose hall and on Saturday, May 25 in Thessaloniki at the MonÁsty Hotel. The mentoring days aim to inspire and equip the participants with the appropriate tools to recognize their values, set their work goals, and make their professional vision a reality. Through the guidance of experts in the professional empowerment of women of the Women On Top network of mentors, the women who will take part in the two events will have the opportunity to attend fireside chats, expand their knowledge and skills through mentoring sessions, but also participate actively in interactive workshops for immediate practice.
Finally, in the context of the Live A Legacy actions, Mastercard offers again this year the opportunity to those who wish to make a dynamic start in their professional career through the available paid internship positions, offered by Mastercard, and the companies belonging to the wide network of partners of.
