Share

Two new financial programmes for the digital transformation and green transition of for small and medium-sized enterprises Eurobank, in cooperation with Hellenic Development Bank (HDB), in the framework of the Portfolio Fund "Business Growth Fund" and in particular through the financial instruments "Digital Upgrade Loans" and "Green Co-Financed Loans" of the above Portfolio Fund.

The common denominator of the two schemes is that, in an upward cycle of interest rates, each eligible company can secure lower financing costs and a long-term repayment horizon with a capital grace period of up to 24 months. Due to the co-financing of the Fund:

  • 40% of the loan is granted interest-free
  • while for the remaining amount of the loan (60%) a two-year interest rate subsidy of 3% is provided by the Fund.

The loans from Eurobank and the Development Bank

Lending under the Green Co-financed Loans Fund ranges between EUR 80,000 - 8 million euros, while lending under the Digital Upgrade Loans Fund between EUR 25,000 - 1 million euros. The aim is to support and develop the business activity of SMEs on favourable terms, with an additional two-year subsidy of part of the interest rate, for the implementation of investment projects, namely:

Green Co-financed Loans: for the implementation of the company's investment plan in Green Transition projects and, in particular, in one and/or more of the following categories of actions included in the three sub-programmes of the Fund:

  • Green Mobility Loans (Green Mobility Loans)
  • Loans for Energy Upgrade (Loans for Energy Upgrade)
  • Loans for Green Renewable Energy (Loans for Green Renewable Energy)
  • Digital Upgrade Loans: for the implementation of an investment plan of the company, aiming at the digitalisation and digital upgrading of its operations/activities, increasing its productivity, its growth and the creation of new jobs.
