NSRF: Applications for the action “Strengthening the Extroversion of Businesses through Promotion and Networking Actions” of the “Thessaly 2021/27” Program

The aim of the Action is to promote the extroversion of the businesses of the Region of Thessaly through their participation in trade fairs organized in Greece, in the EU. as well as in third countries.

Eligible Businesses

In the framework of the NSRF Action, beneficiaries of the aid may be Mikres and Very Small Enterprises,as defined in Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC, which before the date of electronic submission of the funding application:

• Have at least two (2) complete closed management uses
• Substantially active (Main Activity Code or Activity Code with the highest revenue) in one (1) eligible activity CSD
• They have the eligible investment credit card(s)
• Have eligible KAD related to products/services they wish to promote through their participation in exhibitions

Investment Plans and Support Rates

Each company may submit only one Budget Funding Application up to €90,000 (Total cost) which may concern the participation in at least two or more trade fairs at home and/or abroad as an exhibitor.

The grant will amount to 50% of the submitted costs.

Basic conditions for participation in the NSRF Action

The basic conditions for companies to participate are the following:

• To be active in the Region of Thessaly
• To have the status of a Small or Very Small Business
• Submit a single funding application per VAT number in the Action
• To operate legally by having the appropriate licensing document
• Not be problematic businesses
• Not be under bankruptcy, liquidation or compulsory administration or that the company’s creditors have not filed for reorganization
• That no recovery of state aid is pending against them following a decision of the European Commission declaring an aid illegal and incompatible with the internal market.

Eligible Expenditure Categories

The following expenditure categories are eligible under the Action:

• expenses for renting, installing and managing a stand for a company’s participation in a trade fair,
• costs of consulting services provided by external consultants provided that the said services must not be a continuous or periodic activity nor be linked to the normal operating costs of the business, such as regular tax and legal consulting services or advertising services.
