“Save – Business”: The platform for hotels and accommodations opens from today, March 11

From Monday, March 11, the platform for submitting requests to the “Save – Business” program will be opened specifically for hotels and accommodations, having a deadline of March 31st.

The above was stated by the head of the Directorate of Energy Policies and Energy Efficiency of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, Mr. G. Souris, speaking at the 8th EUREM Alumni meeting, held by the Hellenic German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the main subject of dialogue, this year, new European Directive on energy efficiency and the amendment of regulation (EU) 2023/955, which was published in September 2023.

Goal of the program

The aim of the program is to support companies, such as upgrading their facilities, installing saving systems energy and the upgrade of their equipment . This includes heat pumps and solar heating systems, among others.

Which businesses it concerns

The “Save – Business” program for hotels and accommodation concerns businesses, even individuals, that operate in Greece, have a Greek VAT number, are active on the date.

The small businesses, can submit applications with a maximum eligible expenditure budget of 20,000 euros, with the percentage of the corresponding support being at 50% of these, i.e. up to 10,000 euros.
