DYPA: The Jobmatch platform opens that will connect the unemployed and employers in tourism and catering
Within the next week it is expected to start the application of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) Jobmatch, which concerns the pairing of unemployed and employers from the branches of focus and tourism, where more than 50,000 vacancies are registered.
The commander of the DYPA Spyros Protopsaltis, in an interview, said in this regard:
- Jobmatch, this new innovative application of DYPA, is yet another digital tool added to the Service’s arsenal, strengthening its effort to more effectively “marry” the supply and demand of work in the critical tourism sector.
- Given that tourism is the heavy industry of the country, but also the fact that we currently have 50,000 vacancies in this critical sector, the implementation of innovative actions to cover this deficit is imperative.
- DYPA’s Jobmatch platform concerns the catering and tourism sectors for temporary as well as permanent work.
- Especially the employee, after downloading the DYPA Jobmatch application from the App Store or the Playstore and completing his profile, will be able to configure his options using filters, such as in which professions he wants to be employed and in which areas, in what working hours he wants to be employed and also the wages he wants to receive.
- At the same time, employers will be able to create their professional profile and connect directly with the
employee in the job they have opened, based on their business area, salary range and their
rating. And after an employee has been matched with an employer, an appointment will be made for an interview either via video call or by phone.
