ACCI and EDGEGE for the strengthening of women’s entrepreneurship

An open invitation to innovative women startups from all over Greece to apply for membership in the hosting and support programs of the Athens Incubator of Startups - THEA, and the National Network of Greek Women Entrepreneurs, the National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the National Network of Greek Women Entrepreneurs. EEDEGE.

"Although the position of women in the workplace and in business is significantly better today than in the past, much still needs to be done. That is why despite progress, we are not complacent." This was stated by the President of EBEA and EEDEGE, Mrs Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, on the occasion of the publication of the call.

«In the framework of the actions undertaken by the HEA to increase the participation of women in business invites female startups to submit their applications to the Incubator for Start-ups, in order to support their operation through advisory services, access to the logistical infrastructure of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, training programmes, as well as through funding and networking opportunities", concluded Ms Kounenaki Efraimoglou.

Who is covered by the invitation of the EBEA & EEIGE

  • Innovative start-up business groups in which at least 50% of the members are women.
  • Innovative start-up SMEs with female founders and/or co-founders, as well as enterprises in which women hold the majority of the shares/shares of the enterprise and participate with more than 50% in the executive management/management of the enterprise.

The benefits that all start-up women's business groups and innovative women's start-up SMEs secure from their participation in the TEA include:

  • Provision of advisory support in matters of administration, marketing - sales promotion, legal and tax matters, etc.
  • Promote synergies between business teams.
  • Support for access to investment funds related to the financing of the start-up business.
  • Participation in training seminars.
  • Business networking activities in Greece and abroad.
  • Shaping common interests and objectives at the operational level.

Deadline for submission of applications

Applications for proposals can be submitted until April 28th, 2023. On the website: www.theathensincube.gr the application form for the Athens Incubator for Young Entrepreneurs - THEA, the evaluation criteria, as well as the instructions for completing and submitting it online.

Applications will be evaluated immediately and on a first come, first served basis, by the Special Evaluation Committee of the Department.
