The submission of online applications for the third cycle of the Programme for the granting of grants for business initiatives for the employment of young freelancers aged 18 to 29 years old, with emphasis on women, of the DYPA, has started.

The aim of the 12-month action is to promote self-employment for 450 young unemployed people through the creation of sustainable businesses, with a focus on women.

The deadline for applications is Friday 9 June 2023 at 15:00.

The amount of aid for new businesses is €14,800 and will be paid in three instalments as follows:

• 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the start of activity at the Tax Office
• 2nd instalment of EUR 5,400, after the end of the first six months of the start of the business
• 3rd instalment of EUR 5,400, after the end of the second half of the second half of the start-up period

The beneficiaries of the action are registered unemployed persons aged 18-29 who will submit an application for funding, including a business plan proposal. The application for funding (investment proposal) is submitted exclusively electronically to the State Aid Information System (PSI) of the Ministry of Development and Investment at the following address: https://www.ependyseis.gr.

The programme, with a total budget of 61.200.000 euros, is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund/Youth Employment Initiative, in the framework of the Operational Programme: Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014 - 2020.
