There is still one day left for interested parties to submit an application to participate in the Change Device program of the Ministry of Environment and Energy. According to data revealed yesterday by the responsible minister K. Skrekas, the interest has exceeded all expectations.
Specifically applications have been submitted by 740 thousand different households, while it was initially estimated that 250,000 households would be eligible. For these250,000 households, it has been estimated that The change of electrical appliances will result in a reduction in energy by 30% per year or 200,000 megawatt hours, which means 45 million less gas. euro.
Extension of deadline
We remind you that after an extension of the deadline for submitting applications to the Change device program, those interested can apply until tomorrow, Friday, July 8.
After the deadline and for three more days, it will be possible to submit registered applications that are pending.
During this time it will not be possible to create or cancel an application. This will be followed by the evaluation, classification of applications and announcement of provisional results.

Applications from interested parties for the replacement of electrical appliances are submitted without supporting documents on the website: https://allazosyskevi.gov.gr/. Beneficiaries already have the possibility to apply for a subsidy for the purchase of less energy-consuming devices, regardless of VAT number.
It is recalled that The subsidy for the purchase of air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers ranges from 135 to 710 euros. Every household that joins the subsidy program has the option of replace up to three electrical appliances (up to two air conditioners, one refrigerator or one freezer) for the main or secondary residence, owned or leased.
Beneficiaries of the program are all households regardless of income.

From 5,000 euros and below, the beneficiary is entitled to a 50% subsidy.
Over 5,000 euros and up to 10,000 euros, the beneficiary is entitled to a 45% subsidy.
Over 10,000 euros and up to 20,000 euros, the beneficiary is entitled to a 35% subsidy.
Over 20,000 euros, the beneficiary is entitled to a 30% subsidy.
Those who receive the subsidy you will have until September 16th to buy the new devices. The old ones should be withdrawn by 30 September.
