British Council Life Skills training workshops

In parallel with the conduct of the second cycle, the training workshops will also continue. The open positions are reserved for more than 1,700 young people throughout Greece.

The beneficiaries will receive additional training in practical issues in order to adapt faster to their organizations, such as social media management and project management. During their internship, participants will be in regular contact with a selected mentor. This way they will receive the appropriate support and guidance in their first steps.

Following the end of the programme experience, the British Council plans to also carry out a series of exciting Start-upBootcamps, where all participants will find themselves in an environment of innovation and collaboration. The aim is to present new ideas. At the same time, to give another impetus for the creation of value and knowledge in the field of social economy. Value and knowledge that will also affect society as a whole.

Anastasia Andritsou, Director of the British Council in Greece

"We are particularly proud that the British Council's effort to support society through the very important empowerment of young people is crowned with success. The British Council Life Skills project is going strong, having already completed the first cycle of the project this summer. We want to offer employment and training opportunities to young people. We have chosen to take an alternative path to combat youth unemployment, a path that would not have been possible to create without the support of social actors and businesses, whom we warmly thank once again.
