Bayer Hellas is constantly looking for new ways to put into practice its commitment to innovation in its fields of activity. Guided by the specific needs of the modern business landscape in Greece, it adds another important initiative in this direction, the new Level-up program.

Level-up is a program to support and advise start-ups of different maturity. The main objective is to develop innovative ideas in viable businesses that can grow either organically or by securing funding.

The design of the Level-up program aims to cover the full range of needs of a start-up in the areas mentioned above. Participants shall be provided with access to:

• Mentoring by specialized, high-ranking executives of the company, with experience in the field of Health and Agriculture.
• Consulting by company executives, so that the start-up can acquire additional supplies if it participates in bayer's international tender programs (such as G4A) and can be a potential partner of the company locally or regionally.
• Seminars and open discussions on key issues that concern start-ups such as:

- Funding and partnerships

- Appropriate business models and business plan

- Marketing strategies

- Legal and accounting framework for startup companies

- Science and entrepreneurship

Currently, 10startups from all over Greece, active in the health and agri-food sector, have secured their place in the first cycle of the program. The first cycle will be completed in 9 months. During the kick off meeting that took place on Thursday, November 4, the participants had the opportunity to get to know each other and with the mentors and experts with whom they will share the experience of the program. At the same time, the goals that will be achieved through their participation were jointly set.
