Questions - pending issues of older NSRF programs
Of course, the question is, and it remains to be answered, what happens to the first three actions on entrepreneurship and specifically on: "Upgrading micro & small existing businesses by developing their capabilities in new markets", "Start-up Entrepreneurship", and "Support for small and medium-sized tourism enterprises (SMEs) for their modernization and the upgrading of the quality of the services provided", which are given extensions.
There are also questions about the unallocated funds of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship and Development. They are in danger of being lost, as the President of the Fund, Costas Galiatsos, said a few days ago. According to him, the funds currently available to ETEAN amount to approximately 60 million euro. Added to this is an equal shareholding by the banks, the total funds to be made available amount to 120 million euros.
An amount that ND raises to 300 million euro. Yesterday, the head of the European Affairs Section of New Democracy, Member of Parliament for the First Region of Thessaloniki, Mr. Stavros Kalafatis and the head of the Development and Competitiveness Sector, Member of Parliament for Athens B, Mrs. Anna Michelle Asimakopoulou, launched an attack on the Government on the grounds of the risk of losing resources from European financial instruments to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to them, more than 300,000,000 euros from financial instruments such as JESSICA, JEREMIE, TEPIX, etc. they remain unsold. They will have to be disbursed by the end of September.
