New NSRF programs with a wide range of actions will run until the end of the year as announced during a press conference by the Minister of Economy George Stathakis, the Deputy Minister of Environment Giannis Tsironis and the Deputy Minister of Economy Alexis Charitsis.

More specifically for the new NSRF programs:

• Height program 500 million euros for the environment and quality of life. As the relevant ministers have said, it mainly concerns primary local authorities, it starts later this month. The Secretary of State also underlined that some of the calls presented today offer significant implementation opportunities to primary local authorities. In the previous period, the weaknesses of many municipalities of the country were recognized and recorded, regarding the maturation and implementation of complex actions. In order to effectively address this problem, the Ministry of Economy & Development proceeded to issue a Ministerial Decision to support the Final Beneficiaries, with special care for small Municipalities. A move that comes to satisfy a long-standing demand of the self-government.
• In May, a new program for the development of clusters and incubators amounting to 22.5 million euros will be announced.
• In September, another action will come out to upgrade medium-sized businesses with a budget 40 million euros.
• Below are actions for employee knowledge training and certification plans (25 εκατ. ευρώ), διακρατικές συνεργασίες σε έρευνα και τεχνολογική ανάπτυξη (50 million euros), business investments in R&D to develop partnerships (280 million euros), υποστήριξη ευρυζωνικών υποδομών και υπηρεσίες αξιοποίησης τους (67 εκατ. ευρώ) και νέο πρόγραμμα «Εξοικονομώ κατ΄οίκον» for energy upgrade κατοικιών, δημοσίων και δημοτικών κτιρίων (248 εκατ. ευρώ), που αναμένεται να περιλάβει 10 thousand from existing applications from the old program.
