Few days left for the ^1st Innovation Marathon Future Greek Rail Hackathon. The aim is to highlight ideas and proposals for the digital transformation of the Hellenic Railways Organisation.

The FutureGreekRailHackathon Innovation Marathon will take place on October 23/24, 2021 and includes 3 stages:

• Public recording and collection of ideas and problems for solution and mapping of needs that can be supported with innovative digital applications
• Organization of the marathon
• Awarding the applications that stand out and cooperation with all the cooperating agencies and support for their productive implementation.

The 1st Future Greek Rail Hackathon application development innovation marathon aims at the activation (community activation) of the innovation ecosystem, institutions and businesses to create prototype applications that promote the digital transformation of the railways, through new and innovative ideas and applications with social impact ( social impact).

The Future Greek Rail Hackathon is open to young programmers, analysts, students, startup companies and generally anyone who has an idea on issues related to OSE's fields of activity and is interested in developing it and presenting it in a pilot application during the two-day event. Indicative thematic areas of the marathon, which are specified on the website of the event:https://crowdhackathon.com/ose, are passenger experience, data utilisation, commercial transport, green management, infrastructure and processes.

Stakeholders, developer teams, startup companies and public and private sector organizations can participate in the marathon in the following ways:

a. giving issues or problems or challenges for a solution related to the areas of the OSE and is interested in developing it into an integrated application (public submission of proposals - consultation). - https://hello.crowdapps.net/osehackathon/

Awards of the Future Greek Rail Hackathon

Prizes with a total value of 18,000 euros will be awarded to the winning teams. For all participants, there will be opportunities for networking and subsequent collaborations with the OSE and partner agencies.
