The Piraeus Chamber of Crafts under the Operational Programme "Attica 2014-2020", has taken over as a Beneficiary the implementation of the Act: "Actions in Consultancy-Pistotyping-Training of employees of the Region of Attica by the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry", under IPA code 5070879. The Act is undertaken in accordance with the Decision No. 763 /03-03-2021 (ID: 6BZHH7L7 - BTF).

The Act is an integrated intervention effort through the provision of personalised counselling, vocational training and certification of professional qualifications and skills all private sector workers in the Region of Attica, regardless of their sector of employment, for their adaptation the changes of the local as well as the supra-local labor market (economic, technological, environmental, adaptation to teleworking models given the COVID-19 conditions, etc.) andin the new development environment of the Attica Region.

The project is addressed to to a total of 760 employees the private sector of the economy regardless of the sector of employment, who wish to upgrade their knowledge and be trained both in specialized and horizontal specialties and subjects, that can be used by all workers regardless of employment sector, related to the development priorities of the Region of Attica, to improve their skills as well as to enhance their professional competence.

The operation is funded by the European Union ( European Social Fund - EKT) and from national resources through the EIF.

Object

The project concerns personalised counselling, certification and training of employees to be provided to 760 private sector employees of all productive sectors of the economy, namely:

1. Professional advice

Professional advice actions to empower beneficiaries for the optimal use of their "reserves" and abilities, through the provision of new and innovative methods that ensure their personal development and professional development.

The professional counseling activities will be implemented either through face-to-face sessions or remotely through the project's information system. More specifically, the sessions will be implemented in the following ways:

• In halls, licensed according to L. 4093/2012, para. I, case in point. I15, no. 5, which ensure accessibility to people with disabilities, in accordance with law 4067/2012 (Government Gazette 79/A/2012) "New Building Regulation" and the Instructions of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change "Designing for All".
• Remotely, through the integrated information system of the project.

Personalized counseling support includes three (3) sessions (duration 45 minutes each session).

During the sessions, the beneficiaries will be assigned to fill in specific tools (e.g. questionnaires). Through them an attempt will be made to detect:

• professional interests
• knowledge
• the skills of each client

Taking into account the results obtained from the completion of the tools in combination with the interests, inclinations and expectations of each beneficiary and the current situation regarding the supply and demand of skills in the labour market at national, regional and local level, The beneficiary will be supported by the consultant in choosing the specialty that is harmonized with his/her needs and expectations.

Note: Due to the emergency measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and for as long as necessary, counseling sessions are recommended to be implemented without the physical presence of the parties involved. Also without requiring the movement of the consultant and / or the consultee (remote implementation method).

2. Training measures

Actions in training employees to acquire new knowledge, skills and competences that will substantially enhance their employability, the prospect of improving their employment conditions. Also improving their professional mobility to ensure the most appropriate working conditions and adapt them to changes in the business environment. The act includes targeted 80-hour continuing vocational training programmes in horizontal as well as specialised professional knowledge and skills. The programs aim to improve the skills and enhance the professional abilities of the participants. They will be implemented by certified training providers.

Each Training Program will be implemented with one of the following training methods:

• Either with the method of conventional (face to face) face-to-face training in the classroom
• Either with the method of blended learning, combining live / face-to-face classroom teaching with synchronous and asynchronous tele-education activities
• Either with the method of e-learning (synchronous and asynchronous e-learning)
