On Friday, 06-05-2022 at 13:00, the applications for the business grant program for the employment of 4,000 unemployed people aged 30 years and over in the Most Developed Regions (MDP) of the country, with emphasis on women of OAED and specifically in the Regional Units:
- of the Western Sector of Athens
- of Western Attica and Piraeus
- in the South Aegean Administrative Region
Applications will be submitted until Friday 17-06-2022 at 15:00.
Grant amount PES
The 12-month program is aimed at businesses and the amounts of the wage subsidy and insurance contributions for hiring unemployed people in new full-time positions are as follows:
- €466.5 monthly / €5,598 annually for unemployed people aged 30-49
- €559.8 per month / €6,717.6 per year for unemployed people aged 50 and over
- €606.45 per month / €7,277.4 per year for long-term unemployed aged 30 and over
- €653.1 monthly / €7,837.2 annually for long-term unemployed aged 50 and over
- €699.75 monthly / €8,397 annually for unemployed women aged 30 and over
Businesses interested in participating will submit their application exclusively online. The submission is made through Information System for State Aid (PΣKE) of the Ministry of Development & Investments, at the following address: http://www.ependyseis.gr/mis. Then, the PES labor advisers will indicate candidates to the company, according to the unemployed category, the specialty and the required qualifications and the company will choose among the candidates for the recruitment.
A necessary condition is that the company has not reduced its staff during the three months prior to the application. Also not to have received funding from state aid of more than €200,000 in the previous 3 years (current and two previous). The grant includes the corresponding Christmas and Easter gifts and leave allowances.
The program, with a total budget of €26,000,000, is co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund), through the EP. "Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020".
