End of pretense: It is also abolished for employees with service provision blocks

And the workers with service block are expected to be included by the removal of the pretense fee, who until today paid 400 or 500 euros, as the minister announced speaking to the Finance Committee of the Parliament of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis.

More specifically, this abolition concerns those whose income comes from individual business or self-employment and have a written contract with up to three natural or legal entities or 75% of the money they collect comes from a natural or legal person.

This repeal will apply to income earned in 2024 and will be reported on tax returns submitted in 2025.

It is recalled that it was announced by the government that as of the new year, the tax for freelancers, self-employed and self-employed people who are taxed on the basis of the minimum presumptive income will be abolished.

It is noted that block workers were excluded from the reductions in the pre-employment fee of previous years which had been applied only to freelancers.

Also, they were not included in the initial planning of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance on the basis of which it was announced the complete abolition next year of the end of pretense for freelancers.

Based on the announcement of the Minister of Finance from next year, approximately 25,000 workers with a block are estimated to be exempt from the pretense fee.
