“Tourism for All 2024”: Immaterial debit card easily and immediately for beneficiaries and businesses

The Program “Tourism for All 2024” continues to offer substantial financial relief to its beneficiaries, stimulating domestic tourism and the Greek economy.

To date, transactions worth 9 million euros have been made, strengthening the tourism accommodation sector, from hotels to camping and organized camps.

Of the total amount allocated, 96% has been used in hotel units and other accommodation, offering support to both traditional and more specialized tourism accommodation businesses. The remaining 4% has been allocated to camping, recreational and sports camps, as well as other forms of accommodation. The target of the program is to satisfy a wide range of options in accommodation services for the beneficiaries, promoting at the same time the sustainable development of tourism throughout the territory.

The card activation process is simple and fast, allowing the drawn beneficiaries as well as accommodation service providers to benefit from the aid amount without delay. Immediately once activated, the digital card received by those drawn works just like a regular debit card.

The available amount of the card, total or balance, can be used until 31/12/2024 for payments of accommodation services throughout Greece, without any other action either by the beneficiaries or by the businesses. After after this date the card is deactivated and any balance will not be available for redemption.

The Ministry of Tourism invites beneficiaries to take advantage of the Program and activate their immaterial card, discovering enchanting autumn and winter destinations throughout Greece.
