DYPA: Extension of applications until September 23 for the 30 Higher Vocational Training Schools (SAEK)

The deadline for submitting applications for admission to the 30 Schools of Higher Professional Kdepartment (SAEK) of the Public Employment Service (DYPA), for the year 2024/25.

Those who are holders of a High School Diploma (General or Vocational), of all ages are entitled to apply.  Applications are submitted exclusively via gov.gr with TAXIS codes at:

Specifically, the route is: gov.gr → Education → Enrollment in a school → Enrollment in SAEK of DYPA

The necessary supporting documents include the degree and the police ID card, while all supporting documents are attached (uploaded) to the application in PDF format.  Each candidate has the right to choose a total of up to three training specialties in order of preference (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in up to two SAEK of DYPA.

The 30 SAEK of DYPA provide quality initial professional training that meets the needs of the economy and ensure to the trainees the corresponding qualifications through the provision of scientific, technical, professional and practical knowledge, enabling them to develop abilities and skills for their integration into the labor market.

The course lasts a total of five semesters, divided into four semesters (2 years) of theoretical and laboratory training, with a total duration of up to 1,200 specialty teaching hours, and one semester of paid internship, with a total duration of 960 hours.

The SAEK of DYPA provide graduates (after initial professional training certification exams) Diploma of Professional Specialty Level 5.
