JOBmatch: Over 11,400 registrations on the DYPA platform for finding jobs in tourism and catering

The great response continues to DYPA’s new free JOBmatch application and platform for the direct connection of companies tourism and focus with those looking for work in respective specialties, with a total of more than 11,400 registrations.

It is reminded that the platform jobmatch.dypa.gov.gr is aimed at businesses and the JOBmatch application at those looking for work.

In its first three weeks of operation, 1,793 businesses and 9,622 citizens have already registered, 4,441 (46%) of whom are unemployed, 12,300 matches have already been made between businesses and candidates and 4,127 interviews have been completed without any mediation.

The top ten regions based on the number of businesses that have registered on the platform to date are:

  • Rhodes
  • Corfu
  • Athens (Syntagma area)
  • Chania
  • Thassos
  • Kos
  • Kefalonia
  • Heraklion, Crete
  • Cassandra
  • Thessaloniki (center)

The businesses create their profile for free on the platform JOBmatch.dypa.gov.gr and “search for an employee” directly, from the jobs they offer, choosing specific characteristics, such as indicatively:

  • Specialty
  • Select type of work (permanent, seasonal, other)
  • Work Start Date
  • Salary Range

Accordingly, those looking for work in tourism-catering businesses can “download” the application, which is available on Android (Google Play Store) and IOS (Apple App Store), create a profile and configure their options using filters, such as:

  • Professions that interest them
  • Schedule
  • Region
  • Salary range
  • Availability Date

The JOBmatch.dypa.gov.gr platform provides businesses with the ability to immediately see which prospective employees match their search, in order to select them and then propose an interview day and time. Thus, the process of finding an employee can now be completed in less than 5 minutes.

At the same time, each candidate is immediately informed by the application as soon as a company selects him for an interview and has the option of accepting or rejecting the invitation. In case of acceptance, the company sees his details and contacts him for the interview.

Also, candidates have the option to refresh their search filters as often as they like, shaping their profile according to their availability and choices.

It is noted that the use of the platform for businesses works exclusively through a browser. They can log in and register through a browser from a stationary computer, tablet or smartphone and the platform works from all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
