OpenDays – Meet the DYPA Schools: April 20 in Syntagma and April 25 in Lamia

The Public Employment Service (DYPA) invites youth and their parents at the information events “Open Days – Meet the Schools of DYPA” for the professional education and training organized on Saturday, April 20, in Syntagma Square, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 25 at the Vocational School (EPAS) Lamia (Stylidos) 93, Megali Vrysi) from 10:00 to 18:00.

Aimed to highlight the many and important professional opportunities and perspectives offered by the education, DYPA invests in strengthening and upgrading the study programs and workshops of Vocational Schools (EPAS) of Apprenticeships and Schools of Higher Vocational Training (SAEK) and expands the public familiarization events with Vocational Training and Education Schools operating throughout Greece, within the framework of the European Years of Skills.

On Open Day of Athens, visitors will live a different experience, as for the first time a specially designed space is being created in the most central part of the capital, where in a festive atmosphere students and teachers will present dozens of the specialties of EPAS Apprenticeship and SAEK of Attica.

Accordingly, in Open Day of Lamia, EPAS and SAEK open their doors to the public of the city for the first time. Visitors will enjoy music and street food and have the opportunity to chat with the educational communities, who will guide them through the workshops and facilities.

The events “Open Days – Meet the Schools of DYPA” enable visitors to get to know up close the free educational programs, the specialties and the philosophy of the dual system applied in EPAS, to learn about the activities, European and national distinctions, international collaborations and other initiatives of the schools, as well as to discover the career prospects that open up after graduation.
