Lefteris Avgenakis, Minister of Rural Development

“The implementation of the Young Farmers program – the biggest ever implemented in the country – is progressing normally throughout Greece. By strengthening the program and participating in it and the runners-up of the last announcement, we contribute to the effort to face the biggest risk of the primary sector which is none other than the aging of the population. Our aim is to keep the region alive by making the farming profession more attractive and more profitable. And we will achieve it”.
