The ceremony for the 2023 Stelios Hadjiyannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards, which is organized for the 14th year by Sir Stelios Hadjiyannou, creator and owner of the and owner of the easy brands and the brand and brand names Stelios Hadjiioannou Charitable Foundation, is going to open its doors again on September 5 at the "Stelios Foundation Conference Hall".
At the awards event, young people will be honoured for their remarkable efforts in the field of youth entrepreneurship in Greece. The application process for the 2023 Stelios Hadjiioannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards, is already underway, and those interested will be able to register their entry until 4August.
At the same time, the age limit for participants is increased from 35 to 40 years, thus giving the opportunity to more young and young entrepreneurs to claim one of the prizes worth a total of 100,000 euros that the institution will offer to 3 winners, namely:
- €50,000 to the first winner
- EUR 30 000 to the second, and
- EUR 20 000 to the third party
The Stelios Foundation Conference Hall is housed in the building at 22 Kydathinaion Street in Plaka and is managed by the Stelios Hadjiyannou Charitable Foundation. It consists of a conference room with a capacity of up to 200 people and outdoor terrace, with a view of the Acropolis, 400-seat capacity (which used to house the historic Ciné Paris) which is expected to be available for lease as a summer cinema and open from May 2024.
The Stelios Foundation Conference Hall will be used for events of the Stelios Hadjiyannou Charitable Foundation, while it will also be available for free use to charitable organizations, under conditions set by the Foundation.
The criteria and the application process for the "Stelios Hadjiioannou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards 2023"
Entrepreneurs must:
- be up to 40 years old, born in 1983 or later,
- have established a Greek company and started their business activity in the last 5 years, with a total turnover of at least 20,000 euros per year
Their business must:
- employ at least 3 people and
- the entrepreneur must own at least 50% of it
- if there are two owners, they must own more than 80% of the company between them
