Women On Top: Crowdfunding for the 1st Women’s Empowerment Hub in Greece
Crowdfunding campaign is launched by Women On Top as part of its effort to promote gender equality at work even more effectively with the aim of creating the WHEN Hub, the first hub of collaboration, learning, advocacy and empowerment for women and families in Greece.
Since 2012 Women On Top has supported more than 5,800 women to empower themselves financially, acquire new skills and make their professional/business dreams come true. At the same time, WoT has partnered with 300+ companies & organizations and trained more than 11,500 executives to foster a more inclusive and equal culture in the work environment. Finally, it creates dynamic communities, composes tools and implements awareness-raising actions to claim greater equality in public life.
Today WoT is setting a big goal: launching a crowdfunding campaign to create a hub where all women can work, grow, venture, cultivate new skills and be empowered through a dynamic community. A space where mothers can do the same, while their children are creatively occupied, in an appropriately designed space near them.
The goal is to create a hub:
- With 30 coworking spaces for women who want to make work one of the best parts of their lives
- With closed offices for small groups & organizations
- With spaces for meetings, events and seminars
- With appropriately configured spaces for children’s care & creative employment
- With mother & baby areas
- With full accessibility for the disabled
- With its own library
