The Public Employment Service (DYPA), in the framework of its cooperation with the educational non-profit organization Junior Achievement Greece (JA Greece), implements a training programme for teachers on entrepreneurship issues(train the trainers course). The application period started on Monday 14 November 2022 and will remain open until Friday 16/12/2022.
The cooperation concerns the training of the teachers of the Education and Training Structures of the DYPA on entrepreneurship issues. The training programme aims to promote innovative thinking, entrepreneurship and the practical application of the basic concepts of economics.
This programme consists of two strands:
- Teacher training on entrepreneurship issues
- Parallel implementation of the Educational Program called "V-Company" ("Virtual Company") to the students/trainees of the Education and Training Structures of DYPA
It is carried out through:
- modern (online) training: a 1-2 hour webinar/week. The webinars take place once a week. At the same time they are recorded, so that they are available on the platform for those who did not watch them online
- asynchronous education: via a digital platform
Under the second axis of the programme, 400 students of the vocational training schools and 300 students of the vocational training institutes of all discip lines will be trained in the creating a virtual business. The groups of trainees of the Apprenticeship schools and students of the IEK of DYPA will take part this year in the Trade Fairs organized by J.A. Greece in Athens and Thessaloniki. There they will present their product/service and be evaluated on the basis of its innovation, environmental impact and the appearance of their stand.
