The submission of online applications by businesses for the third cycle of the labour subsidy programme of the DYPA, for the recruitment of unemployed former employees of businesses in the Regions of Western Macedonia and Peloponnese, affected by the effects of the de-lignification process, is extended until Friday 7 July 2023 at 15:00.
The programme has a total budget of ECU 48 million. euros, co-funded by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund), through the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020" and is addressed to companies operating in the Region of Western Macedonia and the Municipalities

Beneficiaries are unemployed persons registered in the unemployment register of ΔΥΠΑ who have been employed for any period of time from 1/1/2019 onwards:
- In the field of energy (PPC). Former temporary staff of PPC or formerly employed by PPC contractors
- In the transport and earthmoving sector related to lignite mining
- Businesses operating in the wholesale and retail trade, catering and tourism sectors
- In other enterprises
The duration of the programme is 12-18 months. The rate of subsidy for salary and contributions varies between 75-100%. The amount of the subsidy ranges from €700 to €933 per month and from €8,397 to €16,794 in total, depending on the category of the unemployed person and the sector of the company in which he/she worked. The subsidy for wage and non-wage costs includes holiday gifts and holiday allowance.
Businesses interested in participating in the programme, submit their application exclusively online through the State Aid Information System (SSI) of the Ministry of Development & Investments at the following address: http://www.ependyseis.gr.
Then, the employment consultants of PES indicate to the company candidates, according to the specialty and the required qualifications. Then the company chooses among the candidates for recruitment.
