According to a press release issued yesterday by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs , open 2 new OAED labor subsidy programs for 11,500 new positions for young unemployed up to 29 years old amounting to € 92 million. euro. As of yesterday, Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 12:00, business applications for two OAED employment programs began with a total of 11,500 new jobs and a subsidy of 75% of the wage and non-wage costs.
Two new employment programs of OAED
Specifically:
- The new Program for Unemployed Graduates aged 22-29 concerns 3,500 new jobs in private sector companies. The duration of the program is 10 months. The subsidy amounts to 75% of the monthly salary and non-wage costs with a maximum of € 750 per month.
- The improved and enhanced Employment Program for unemployed 18-29 years old, of any educational level, concerns 8,000 new jobs in private sector companies. The duration of the program is 12 months, but it is increased to 15 months for the long-term unemployed and beneficiaries of the Guaranteed Minimum Income. The subsidy is increased from 50% to 75% of the monthly wage and non-wage costs. The ceiling is also raised from €500 to €750 per month.
The subsidy for wage and non-wage costs includes the corresponding Christmas and Easter gifts and the holiday allowance.
Please note that there are no employment commitments after the end of the programmes. The conditions for participation are simplified and the integration and recruitment procedures are accelerated.
The budget of the programs amounts to 92.000.000 € and is covered by OAED resources.
