The submission of declarations for the COOPERATION Employment Support Mechanism (Phase A) begins today, April 1^st. The statements relate to the month of April. The new deadline follows the extension of the program until May 31, 2022.

For the period April - May 2022, employees who have a dependent, full-time employment relationship as of 31 October 2021 are included in SYN-ERGASIA (the data of which are derived from the ERGANI system). The companies that meet the financial data will be defined in the relevant ministerial decision. The data remain the same as for the period January – March 2022.

Α. For the month of April 2022 – PHASE A OF SYN-ERGASIA

Enterprises - employers wishing to join the Mechanism, are given the opportunity to submit declarations "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE "CO-OPERATION" MECHANISM (PHASE A)" and "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE MECHANISM". CO-OPERATION (A - PHASE) - REPEAT DETAILED" if any change or modification of the organisation of working time is notified in advance by means of form E4:

Establishment Plan – Supplementary Working Hours of the employees who are included in the MECHANISM, from the ^1st to the ^30th of April 2022

Β. For the month of March 2022 – PHASE B OF SYN-ERGASIA

The possibility of submitting the declarations "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE CO-OPERATION SCHEME (B' PHASE)" and "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE CO-OPERATION SCHEME (B' PHASE) - DEFINITIVE REPLY". The deadline is set from ¹ to ⁸ April 2022.

C. For the month of February 2022- PHASE A OF SYN-ERGASIA (NEW DEADLINE)

It is possible to submit in the ERGANI system the declarations "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE "CO-OPERATION" MECHANISM (A' - PHASE)" and "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE MECHANISM SYN-ERGASIA (PHASE A) - STRICT REPLY' by businesses - employers wishing to join the Mechanism for the month of FEBRUARY 2022, who have not submitted PHASE B for the respective month. The deadline is from ¹ to ⁴ April 2022.

In any case, the obligation to notify in advance any change or modification of the organization of working time through the E4 form remains:

D. For the month of February 2022 – PHASE B OF SYN-ERGASIA (NEW DEADLINE)

The possibility of submitting the declarations "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE "CO-OPERATION" MECHANISM (B' PHASE)" and "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF ENTRY INTO THE CO-OPERATION MECHANISM (B' PHASE) - DEFINITE REPLACEMENT", for the month of FEBRUARY 2022, and only for:

• businesses that have not submitted a phase B declaration
• businesses that have submitted a PHASE B declaration, exclusively for employees who were excluded from phase B payments from ⁵ to ^{8 A}pril 2022

Please note that before submitting the form "APPLICATION / DECLARATION OF INTEGRATION INTO THE CO-OPERATION MECHANISM (PHASE B) - DEFINITE REPLACEMENT" for employees who were excluded from the payments of Phase B, employers can search for the last declaration for Phase B. By selecting the [Manage] button to be informed of the reasons for excluding employees from phase B payments.

Submission of statements of suspensions of employment contracts of employees by businesses in the fire-stricken areas of Evia

The PS ERGANI will be available from 1/4/2022 to 30/4/2022 for the submission of statements of suspension of employment contracts of part or all of the employees for the month APRIL 2022, by employers' enterprises, based on SMRs, based or having a branch in areas affected by the fires and belonging to the administrative boundaries of the Municipalities of Istiaia - Edipsos and Mantoudi - Lake of Agia Anna of the Regional Unit of Evia, in accordance with the provisions of No. eco. 60622/17-8-2021 Joint Ministerial Decision "Emergency and emergency measures for the protection of jobs in the affected areas from natural disasters caused by the fires of August 2021" (B '3816), as in force.

In the suspension declaration form they select the relevant SPECIAL CASE:

"Businesses affected by the August 2021 fires based on Nace Code".

According to the above JMD, the measure of suspension of employment contracts is completed on 30/4/2022.

Submission of unilateral declarations by employees in the earthquake-stricken areas of Crete whose employment contract was terminated

The ERGANI PSP will be available from 1/4/2022 until 15/4/2022 for the submission of unilateral declarations by employees in private sector enterprises, regardless of sector and business activity in areas according to ANNEX I of no. 108115/28-12-2021 Joint Ministerial Decision "Emergency measures for the protection of jobs in the areas of the Region of Crete affected by the earthquake of 27.9.2021" (B ́ 6297) belonging to areas of the Region of Crete hit by the earthquake of 27.9.2021, whose employment contract was terminated by termination during the period of:

from 27/9/2021 until 12/11/2021.

They become beneficiaries of exceptional financial assistance, as special purpose compensation, from the date of termination of their employment contract. The period should not be more than three (3) months.

The relevant application – solemn declaration [special form: "Application - Solemn Declaration of employees in businesses-employers in the areas affected by the earthquake of 27/9/2021, whose employment contract was terminated by termination during the period from 27/9/2021 to 12/11/2021"] is submitted per month on the electronic platform of the special support mechanism for workers (supportemployees.services.gov.gr), the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. A solemn declaration by an employer is not required.
