The program - Support of Tourism SMEs for their modernization and the qualitative upgrade of the services provided

Support for tourism SMEs - Support for investment projects of existing micro, small and medium-sized tourism enterprises of all sectors for the modernization of their infrastructure and operation, their qualitative upgrade and the enrichment, upgrading and certification of the products and services offered, in order to improve their position in the domestic and international tourism market.

Who it concerns

• Existing micro, small and medium-sized tourism enterprises.

Eligible are those who have been established until 31/12/2015, have been eligible for the SMR program (Annex II) since then and employ on average at least half (0.5) SRM of paid employment.

SMEs programme budget

€ 70.000.000

Distribution in the regions:

• Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece: 28,756,000
• Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Peloponnese, North Aegean, Crete: 23.044.000
• Attica: 9.800.000
• Central Greece: 2.800.000
• South Aegean: 5,600,000

The € 50,000,000 concerns the accommodation, of which € 10,000,000 will be allocated to new businesses and € 40,000,000 will be allocated to existing ones with at least two full twelve-month administrative years (2014 and 2015).
Other tourism businesses will be allocated € 20,000,000, of which € 5,000,000 concerns new businesses and € 15,000,000 concerns existing ones with at least two full twelve-month management years (2014 and 2015).

Amount of subsidy to SMEs

The subsidized budget of each investment project of a potential aid beneficiary may not exceed the total Turnover of the year 2015 or the amount of € 150,000, if the turnover is greater than € 150,000 and cannot be less than € 15,000.

4. Kertifica Ofa Qualiti Asurans ed Environmental Managimen Systems
5. Promotion up to 15.000€
6. Software and Software Services up to 20.000€
7. Means of transport up to 15.000€
8. Monitoring of the implementation of the Investment Plan up to € 2,500
9. Studies / market research. 5.000€ and up to 2.500€/study
10. Wage costs of employees up to € 24,000 as follows: € 12,000.00 per SRM (existing and / or new) and up to two SRM

Necessary documents for the Support for Tourism SMEs

The following are required for the payment of the grant:

1. Status of active activities of the enterprise through the gsis.gr
2. Amendments to the articles of incorporation of the company, if there have been
3. Certificate of no further amendment of the articles of association
4. Proof of tax clearance and Proof of insurance clearance or Certificate of withholding taxes and insurance contributions
5. Certificates of non-bankruptcy and non-application for bankruptcy, non-liquidation, with receivership
6. Agreement for the assignment of a grant against a loan and a certificate of disbursement thereof, if an assignment has been made
7. Ministry of Declaration by a legal representative with a genuine signature stating that the grant has not been awarded, as long as no assignment has been made
8. Proof of receipt of a grant or document of equivalent probative value
