On Friday 23 June 2023, the Register of Providers of Tourist Accommodation and Ferry Tickets for the Social Tourism Programme 2023-2024 was posted on the website of the DYPA .

The platform for joining the Provider Register reopens today, Monday 26 June at 15:00. Providers can submit their applications exclusively online via gov.gr with their TAXISnet codes, at: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/apozemioseis-kai-parokhes/parohoi-tourismou.

Specifically the route is: Home - Work and insurance - Compensation and Benefits - Social Tourism Providers

It is recalled that also this year increased subsidy rates of 20% are foreseen for the peak month of Augustbut in addition, for the first time increased by 20% and during the Christmas periods (from 15.12.2023 to 14.01.2024) and of Easter (from 26.04.2024 to 12.05.2024), while the increase is valid for the whole year for accommodation in B. Evia and Samos.

For the first time, the Social Tourism programme will start a month earlier (1 July instead of 1 August) and will cover 300,000 cheques with a budget of €35 million. euro.

Beneficiaries and beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights with a small private contribution, up to 10 nights completely free of charge in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos and Evros, and up to 12 nights completely free of charge in the Municipalities of Istria-Aidipsos and Mantoudiou-Limni-Agios Ioannis. In addition to accommodation in tourist accommodation, ferry tickets are also subsidised. The contribution of beneficiaries is 25% and 20% for large families. For people with disabilities, ferry tickets are free of charge.
