The provisional results of the evaluation of the applications - business plans for the new Programme for granting grants for business initiatives for the employment of young freelancers aged 18 to 29 years old with emphasis on the digital economy have been posted on the website of the Public Employment Service.
The aim of the 12-month action is to promote the self-employment of 3,000 young unemployed 18-29 year olds, through the creation of viable businesseswith a focus on the digital economy.
The grant amounts to 14,800 euros and will be paid in three installments:
- 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the start of activity at the Tax Office
- 2nd instalment of EUR 5,400, after the end of the first six months from the start
- 3rd instalment of EUR 5,400, after the end of the second half of the year from the start
Objections may be submitted exclusively online through the State Aid Information System (PΣKE) of the Ministry of Development and Investments, at the following address: https://www.ependyseis.gr within 15 calendar days of the notification of the interested parties.
The program has a total budget. 45.000.000 euro. It is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund - Youth Employment Initiative. It is part of the Operational Program "Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020".
